  I’ve been visiting Durango Coffee Company (what is now called Durango Roasters) for years now. It has been my favorite place hands down to drink coffee, study and spend time. However as of recently one of the employees has been incredibly rude and distasteful towards my boyfriend and I. I don’t comment often on service, especially because Durango Roasters has always had 5 star service. I believe this particular employee’s name is Jade. Today was the third time now that she has lacked the ability to give me eye contact, but had no problem talking and giving attention to my boyfriend. She interrupted me in the middle of ordering to talk to my boyfriend. I find it incredibly disrespectful if not absurd that this has happened more than once and now I feel less obligated to even go because of her attitude. Having eight years of experience as a server, bartender and a barista, I must point out that this behavior is not acceptable. Otherwise a wonderful coffee shop, but I hope management recognizes that employees should not be acting this way towards customers. It makes us uncomfortable.
